Sophie's February 1998 Letters #1

Sophie,
I like a person like you who looks at sex as a natural thing that exists in this world and is not to be denied etc.. I am older - retired - lots of spunk and financially sound, looking for younger energy providing companionship

Roy

Thanks, Roy. My main commitment with publishing Mentertainment and Mentertainment Online is a world where sexuality will be a source of power and self-expression. It is anything but that today. I read in the newspaper that people are having sex half as often as they had ten years ago. It is not that they think of sex less, it is not that they are less obsessed, they just don't have sex that often. The article doesn't say what they consider having sex. But in my opinion any for of sexual gratification that doesn't cause sexual fulfillment (at least by the nature of the act) for two people, excluding self-inflicted pleasure, is not sex. So I exclude oral sex, when there is one giver and one receiver, I exclude "hand-release" whether it is done to you or by you to yourself.

If I am getting the vibes right, there is a tremendous shift towards "giving/getting head." Just know, I do not consider that sex.

I haven't been sexually active for a while, partially of my choosing, but I remember that when I was, I considered myself a tool and nothing more when all my partner wanted is "head". No involvement, no intimacy, no love, no relationship, no risk.

Anyway, my dream, with Mentertainment was that people will become, somehow, available to play, to take risks, to be involved in a relationship, to be willing to be vulnerable.

As I saw from that newspaper article, the only people who have sex are the people who do that for a living... I could post 20-30 new starlets a day at my website, and there would be enough young men to consider having sex with them in front of the camera as their preferred way of making a living.

Anyway, thank you for the offer, but I am not available at this time. I guess I got the American bug, and will be celibate for a while.

Take care,

Sophie

Hi, my name is Paul. I am writing to let you know that your site is awesome. I spent a long time searching through it and found it most interesting. I am surprised though that you don't have a picture of yourself somewhere in the webpage. I, like probably many others, am curious to know how sexy you look. In any case, I think you did and are doing a great job. It certainly got my attention. I thank you for such an awesome site. Take care and keep up the good work.

Paul
my picture is on the site. http://www.mentertainment.com/images/sophie3.jpg or http://www.mentertainment.com/images/sophie02.jpg. Other than eating the banana, I am not very sexy, or at least haven't been for at least a year. If you've read my editorials, I have been going through some tough recovery phases after a breakup with a lover. But god bless your heart that you wrote to me, that you wrote the way you did. Thank you very much.

Sophie
Sophie,
I am writing you back to thank you for the response. So many people you write to who own a magazine or company do not write you back themselves. They have others do it for them. I appreciated getting the person whom I was seeking.

I am sorry about your breakup and wish you all the best with finding what you are looking for in life. I got to see the rest of the site that I didn't get to see the other night. I did check out your pictures and YOU ARE sexy (come on now, I see a small smile there! :) ). The banana scene is awesome. I also love the saying you left at the end of the e-mail. I do agree with it.
Subj: Desperately seeking info
From: Jose@xyz.com

Finally!
You don't know how hard I've looked for your address. As you know from my E-mail address My name is Jose I'm a young guy with a great job and life. Except I have never been able to live a lot of my own fantasies. No need to mention that they have something to do with erotic sex. It's not that I'm not attractive just that I don't have time to go out there and meet girls, I'm not too crazy about going to clubs. So a long time I decided that an easy way to live out this fantasy was to get into Porn. So I was wondering if you could ,in some way, give me information that would somehow bring me in contact with the inside porn world.
Please write back with your comments or suggestions
Jose...

Dear Jose,
you don't have to be in porn to live your fantasies. If you are good looking, good mannered, then real girls in real life will want to be with you. If not, porn won't want you either.

Porn life is hard, and it is not real.
I can't help, and I won't help. Sorry.
Sophie

Hi Sophie!
I was wondering if you could name a few of the clubs that some of the black porn female actresses work in. I'm going to California soon and I would love to see some of them perform.
I would REALLY appreciate you getting me this information.
Thanks.
Topaz Ice
Howdy,
Just for the heck of it, I put my name in the search box of WebFerret, and darned if the first item on the list was "Frank's Chicken House," in Manville, NJ. What a gas! One of my boyhood fantasies was to own a topless bar. I did own a tavern for a while, but they do not allow nudity in liquor establishments in Washington State.
Do they happen to have anything like hats, T-shirts, posters, or other stuff. I would dearly love to purchase something. Unfortunately, the likelihood of my making it across the country to actually go there is pretty marginal at this time.
Thanks,
E. Manville, Jr.
Tell me it isn't true. I recently read on the Internet that you have gone out of business???? Does this mean an end to your web-page??? Please say it isn't so!
Sincerely
David S >>

David,
It isn't so.
where did you read it? Some people have been calling clubs and tell them that I've died or ask them if they have also heard that I'd died. I wonder who is crazy enough to concentrate on me instead of their own business.
Take care.
Sophie

Dear Sophie;
Thanks for writing me back. I'm glad to hear word of your demise is premature.
You wanted to know where I read it? Well, I was looking for info about Vanessa Steele which somehow led me to the following address: http://www.strippermagazine.com That is where I read that you were bankrupt and out of business.
I hope you can set them straight
Sincerely
David S

David,
I went and checked out that site. I sent them an email. I may have to sue them for libel... The publisher of Stripper never liked me. He and I had the same idea at the same time, and published the first ever stripper publications at the exact same time, same month, same year, different country. He started Canadian Stripper. He tried to move into my territory, was rude to me, spoke bad about me, but you know me, I am like a rock. Immovable. Or maybe a tank. I don't look left, I don't look back, I am forging ahead, where I want to go. You like me, you don't like me, you love me, you hate me, none of my business.
Thanks for alerting me to that little "sweet note" about me being bigger in death than I was in life.
Take care, and stay in touch.
Sophie
