Special Web-Editorial
December 1997
Mentertainment® Magazine was first published nine plus years ago.
It came out, more or less reliably every month. Then suddenly, after two gloomy editorials,
one in June, and one in July... suddenly there was no more Mentertainment to be found,
neither on the stands, in the clubs, or in the many subscribers' mailboxes.
After 4 months deep silence, even hiding, I came out with an issue, 32 pages thick (or thin?)
but yet robust, bursting with energy, and desire. This is the issue, the Dec 1997 issue, that
is probably a turning point in my publishing business, both experiencially and financially.
It seems that I've managed to shake off a "cross" that I had been carrying since I was 3 years old
and carrying the cross was not fun.
I know many of you feel the same way, so I elaborate: We all carry some "cross." And to some
degree we spend our valuable life complaining about it, attending to it, hiding from it, denying
it, and justifying our no success/happiness/fulfillment with that darned "cross."
Most people can't see life for the cross they carry. I was probably one of those...
In 1985 I started to participate in a program, called "The Landmark Forum," spent money and time,
hoping to get a life. It was getting better, I was even having fun, minutes at a time. I could
even hold onto some friendship for some time. But happiness, for no reason, for the joy of living,
eluded me. Until now, that is.
Was it the Landmark Forum, or was it a combination of many factors? I don't know.
Here are the different steps that I have taken:
I put myself on the best vitamin/supplement regimen there is, today
I changed my diet according to my genetic programming (my blood type)
I saw that I could make a commitment to live till a 120 and make a lot more difference
than I could in 70 years or less (my normal life-expectancy)
I molded and shaped the circle of people around me, so that 95% of my conversations are not
ordinary, and are not about complaints, problems, hopelessness, soap opera, drama, but about
making a difference, about possibility, about being of service.
I have been developing an extensive training program for winners... (look who is talking?!)
and been very engaged in it.
I have been participating in a program that is designed to create a new starting point for
relationship for generations to come, most probably after I die. The generosity that it takes
was probably the most potent of all the "circumstances".
Well, read the magazine, and please, don't envy me, join me.
Have a happy New Year. Email me with questions, suggestions, anything. I love you. Take care.

your web-mistress, editor and publisher
Mentertainment® Magazine is published monthly from New Jersey, and its two editions cover Northern and Central New Jersey, most of New York State, and Western Connecticut. Once, maybe twice a year we publish a directory of clubs in the North American Continent, that is to say, the US and Canada. It cost $3.00, and you need to mail or fax a check. Info on bottom of page. It is a nine year old newsprint magazine, 48-56 pages, monthly, with local club ads, local club reviews, and local club dancers pictures and interviews. It gives a comprehensive and in-depth view to the live adult entertainment industry. Sophie, myself, is the editor and the publisher. I am interested in dignity, authenticity and excellence in and around the industry... that is my passion. I am also an advocate of people taking risks, especially in the area of "being available" for a relationship, for social encounters, for life. This is Sophie's Mentertainment® Magazine... the brainchild of a Hungarian professional woman who loves people and is willing to give her life to what's important: A World Working for Everyone, with nobody left out. Sounds alien from the adult entertainment industry? Only if you don't consider that all the participants are people... real people.
